2 buffets in a day? My first time :D
We started the buffet at 6.30pm and ended the meal only at 9.30pm
Gosh.. We took 3 hours to eat?? Seems like a really long time
Well, we certainly ate a lot. Never underestimate the power of our stomachs!

If we're talking about variety, Greenhouse definitely satisfies.
We tried almost everything they had to offer, some of which pictures were not taken as we were busy eating.
But quality-wise, it was a real LETDOWN
For the price we're paying, we certainly expected better.

I do know for a fact that buffets tend to compromise a little on quality for the variety provided
But the food wasn't even satisfactory.
There's definitely lots of room for improvement.
One thing for sure, we ain't coming back no more.

Some pics from our steamboat outing

People who went: Cherie, Amanda, Chewy, Mei Xuan, Beng, Xing Hui, Azlan & Sunny!

We had a great time :D:D
XH & Sunny look so cute here!

Buffet Part I

Cai & I went to Shabuya for shabu shabu buffet!

Miso & shoyu broth

We ordered this several times
Salmon & swordfish sashimi
It was so fresh and nicely cut..

Kurobuta Pork Belly
Texture was chewy but taste-wise, average only.

Wagyu beef
Succulent, melts in your mouth premium beef

US Black Angus
Our favourite meat of the 4!
We ordered this so many times & still couldn't get enough of it

The 4th meat was actually Kurobuta Pork Ribeye, but I forgot to snap it.
So-so only la.

Vegetable platter

Seafood platter
The fishcake was very sweet and tasty!
It may seem simple but it was really addictive.

the prawns were really sweet too.
We kept asking for more of this platter.

Shabu shabu is never complete w/o goma sauce
The waitress had to keep refilling it!

This buffet is definitely worth a try if you're a meat lover like us
A you know such premium meat costs at least $20 per plate if you order it ala-carte
but now you can enjoy unlimited premium meat at only $29.90++!
Really, it's a steal.

Cedele's Blueberry Maple cake for dessert

I felt like I was eating pancakes with blueberry jam on it
It was decent though, but I guess I'm not a fan of maple syrup
I just don't like the taste of it

After our satisfying meal, we went to do fish spa at Kenko

There were 3 types of fish: Big, Medium, and Small
We tried the Big and Med ones
The big ones were really ticklish, we were giggling all the way
and they kept fighting to nibble at our feet. Hehe

Such a fun experience, we're going back again this week.

After the spa, we headed to Ritz Carlton hotel (do not misunderstand)
We initially wanted to check out a Jap restaurant in there, and we ventured deeper after that
And ended up having yet another buffet, this time at Greenhouse

See Part II above..
